m/other becomings

A series of public online talks will explore in depth some of the themes and curatorial aspects of m/other becomings with Patrizia Costantin and artists Ida Bencke, Lyndsey Walsh, Riina Hannula and Signe Johannessen.

What happens when the technologies and politics of the maternal are unleashed from the affective and economic structures of heteronormative reproduction, from natality, and even from species’ genealogies.

m/other becomings symposium will be held in Aalto Design Factory in 9.-10.6.2022.
