The Turku archipelago islands located in the Baltic Sea and their communities provide the framework for four different future scenarios. These hilarious and sometimes chilling episodes were scripted and performed by the islanders. The surprisingly contemporary and universal stories derive from their own fears and hopes.
Kalleinen (FI) and Kochta-Kalleinen (DE/FI) have worked together since 2003. The works of the artist duo are participatory by nature. Most recent works tackle the human relationship with society through means of film. Kalleinen and Kochta-Kalleinen have participated in exhibitions around the world.
