Plastiglomerate finding?
posted by Kristina Lindström on 1 September 2015

The plastiglomerate walks continued in Iceland after the ones that we had announced. We were very happy to receive this image of a finding that was made by Carla Lange on a walk in Thingeyri, in the Westfjords. She is a student at the University Centre of the Westfjords in Ísafjörður.

It was found on a sandy beach above the high tide line. How the various components became into this one entity is a mystery to her as well as to us.

If you find any plastiglomerates please let us know!
