2019 was a really important year for the Bioart Society. In 2015 we had the vision that the we should have our own space for activities and to bring our collaborations in Finland and internationally to a next level. While we continued to develop and produce content at the intersection of art and science we have been heavily working in the background on what should then become SOLU - our laboratory and platform for art, science and society with SOLU Space as its physical manifestation. SOLU was innaugurated in late 2018 and 2019 was the first year we have been running with our new infrastructure and program.
