Tiina Johanna Prittinen

Tiina Johanna Prittinen (b.1974, Ylivieska, FI) depicts and saves aesthetic experiences. She is interested in negative aesthetics and deeply ecological solutions that embrace artistic thinking and multidisciplinary connections.

Her education includes MA in English Philology, Yoga teacher EUY; The Yoga Federation of Finland, and she is currently writing her doctoral thesis at the University of Lapland, Faculty of Art and Design. In her work, understanding of plant life and biodiversity is combined with individual aesthetic experiences and visual thinking. She works with photographs, anthotypes, mixed media and creative writing.
