Cyane Findji is an artist and filmmaker originally from the Mediterranean and currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Her interdisciplinary practice uses documentary filmmaking as a process-based methodology to weave artistic and scientific research into layered ecological narratives, exploring connections between human-and-other bodies and their surrounding environments, especially water bodies. Through practice-based and site-sensitive research, her work is guided by relational care, collaboration, feminist and multispecies frameworks. She holds an MA in Visual Cultures, Curating and Contemporary Art from Aalto University.
