Application deadline 15 January, 2021 23:59 (EEST)

Come and be our new producer!

Bioart Society is looking for an active and imaginative co-worker to take over tasks related to exhibition and project productions of the Bioart Society. You are self-reliant and want to develop your own job description as part of a small but effective team that works closely together. The person we are looking for knows the contemporary art field and its artists and is able to work on smaller events as well as in larger international projects such as Creative Europe projects and Nordic network projects in both Finnish and English. The job description includes project management in exhibition planning, organization of lectures and events, and coordination and practical arrangements for international projects. You have a driver’s license and the opportunity to work on some evenings or weekends when necessary. Our working environment is very flexible and it is possible to have other projects/jobs alongside this job. The colleagues are closely involved in the projects, so you don’t work alone, albeit independently.

Bioart Society is a Helsinki-based association developing, producing and facilitating activities around art and natural sciences with an emphasis on biology, ecology and life sciences. Our operations have grown rapidly in recent years. We offer part-time work, 20h /week, the gross salary is 1600 € / month with flexible working hours. The agreement is until the end of 2021. Work will begin in February. The office language is mainly English but working level Finnish is necessary.

Please fill the application form below with the coverletter in english. The attachements can be in Finnish with application and CV as required and portfolio as optional. The interviews will take place in week 4/2021.
