I am a scientist and artist known for work in circadian rhythms and time. I consider memory, shared experience, emotional resolution, empathy, and resonance through performance and collaboration. My interests include the transformative capabilities of bodies, the electrical properties of organisms, biological clocks, and invisible forces that can shape events. Though my method draws heavily from science, the aesthetic outcomes of my work are seldom hi-tech.
Sharing knowledge of science is an integral part of my process. I regularly contribute to the work of other artists during the research phase, and have advised on scientific themes and direction for projects such as CBC's The Nature of Things. My work has been shown internationally and is part of permanent collections in North America and Europe.
I currently reside in Tio'tia:ke/Mooniyaang, unceded Haudenosaunee and Anishinabe territories (Montreal).
