Discussions and field trip to Kilpisjarvi

Activities:

  • Discussion: Anu showed video about snow monitoring, Julie showed The Lake art work, we discussed photosythesis
  • Rowing the boat on Kilpisjarvi, mostly against the wind, collecting samples
  • Having tea & biscuits, and nice conversations about inter-group personalities and politics at Kiekula house (Dr. Brian slept)
  • Field_Notes group meeting (hosted by Arctic Waters – us!)
  • Some saunaing
  • Some drinking
